“That’s why you look oddly familiar” Pauline said. “Yes, let me show you” you say as you transformed into your 5 year old self again. “But… were you always my daughter?” She asked. She looked kind of worried, with tears in her eyes. You couldn’t tell her the truth, “yes mommy” you said and hugged her. “And you hot your shape shifting powers from that notebook of yours?” She asked. “Yes mommy” you answered.
She picked up the notebook and wrote on it. You closed your eyes, scared on what was going to happen next. But nothing apparently happened. But then you saw your mom transform too. “Now I am shapeshifter too” she said as she became a copy of you at 18 years old. “It felt amazing” she said referring to the transformation. “Now we are more alike mommy” you told her and hugged her again.
“Yes, but i think you are to young to have these powers” she said as she wrote something else. “Nothing changed” you said. “Well, you won’t be able to shapeshift until you are 18 years old” Pauline said. “Not fair mom!”, you told her. “And I can’t have you making you wishes at this age… so…” you tried to stop her. But it was too late, she erased your memories turning you into just her daughter.
“Now pick up your toys, and put your pjs on” your mom told you.
You are trapped, you will spend the next 13 years being a normal girl, and when you turn 18, you will learn how the women in your family can shape shift. Something you will probably take advantage of.
